About the programme
Graduates of the Master's degree programme Specialisation in Nursing in specialisation 3 Nursing in Intensive Care acquire specialised competence in intensive care. The aim of the specialisation training is to acquire specialised competence with the designation of the specialty of Critical Care Nurse by acquiring the necessary theoretical knowledge, practical skills, habits of teamwork and the ability to make independent decisions for the activities stipulated by the legislation in force (§55 of Decree No. 55/2011 Coll., which stipulates the activities of health care workers and other professional staff). The graduate acquires specialised competence in the field after completing at least 1 year of professional practice within 6 years in the field of specialisation.
