The Simulation Centre for Health-oriented Fields uses modern methods and sophisticated models and devices. The two-storey building that belongs to the current Faculty object on U Výstaviště street was opened on Wednesday, 23rd September 2020. The building of the Centre took two years. It comprises a training hospital with state-of-the-art education technology.
The Simulation Centre for Health-oriented Fields uses modern methods and sophisticated models and devices. The two-storey building that belongs to the current Faculty object on U Výstaviště street was opened on Wednesday, 23rd September 2020. The building of the Centre took two years. It comprises a training hospital with state-of-the-art education technology. There are standard hospital rooms, intensive care unit, delivery room with neonatology, the authentic part of an ambulance, and other parts of a real hospital environment. The crucial part of the education is the control room, which collects information from individual workplaces using audio-visual technology and a room for debriefing.
It was funded by the Operational Program Research, Development and Education (European Union Fund, ERDF call for universities, financial participation of the Faculty: 5%).
