The Faculty of Health and Social Sciences of the University of South Bohemia has finished the Simulation Centre for Medical Fields. It will use modern methods and sophisticated models and devices. The two-storey building that belongs to the current FHSS object on U Výstaviště street was opened on Wednesday, 23rd September 2020 in the presence of invited guests. On the 24th September at 10 a.m., the Centre organized Open Day for all interested students, academic workers and faculty employees. They were able to see the simulations of a real hospital environment. The building of the Centre took two years. It comprises a training hospital with state-of-the-art education technology. There are standard hospital rooms, intensive care unit, delivery room with neonatology, the authentic part of an ambulance and other parts of a real hospital environment. The crucial part of the education is the control room, which collects information from individual workplaces using audiovisual technology and a room for debriefing.
