From 13 to 17 October 2025, we visited the Faculty of Theology at the Catholic University in Ružomberok, based in Košice, as part of the Erasmus+ programme. We found the visit very inspiring – we had the opportunity to experience university life, explore the city of Košice, and meet the faculty's organisational team. We also attended the conference "Family Today: Crisis or Opportunity?", which focused on the life ideal of Sára Salkaházy, among other things. During the conference, we presented papers on family-related topics.
In the following days, we gave lectures to students of the Faculty of Theology on topics including autism spectrum disorders, quality of life, family and intergenerational care, and professional development. At the end of our visit, we met with the faculty management, including the dean. We discussed potential future collaborations and invited our Slovak colleagues to visit our faculty. We also discussed opportunities for international cooperation in publishing and in preparing joint grant projects.
The entire visit was very beneficial, both professionally and personally. We are delighted to have established this cooperation and believe that it will lead to joint projects and more inspiring meetings in the future.
