Representatives of FHSS USB participated in the international ETNA 2026 conference in Cyprus

Representatives of FHSS USB and its Institute of Nursing, Midwifery and Emergency Care – Dean Mgr. Ivana Chloubová, Ph.D., Vice-Dean Mgr. František Dolák, Ph.D., MBA, and Mgr. Věra Hellerová, Ph.D. – participated in the 11th International Conference of the European Transcultural Nursing Association (ETNA 2026), held from 3 to 6 May 2026 in the Cypriot city of Limassol at Cyprus University of Technology. The event brought together experts, academics, and healthcare professionals from numerous European and non-European countries.

The conference was held under the theme “One World, Many Voices: Reimagining Transcultural Care for Global Health Futures” and focused on current issues in transcultural nursing, global health, healthcare education, innovation, and culturally competent care. The participation of FHSS USB representatives in this prestigious international platform confirms the faculty’s long-term commitment to developing international cooperation, supporting transcultural education, and sharing expertise in nursing and health and social sciences.

An important figure behind the establishment of cooperation between FHSS USB and ETNA is Valérie Tóthová. Professor Tóthová was instrumental in bringing the faculty into this significant European professional organisation and has long supported the development of international activities in the field of transcultural nursing.
