On October 2–3, 2025, František Dolák and Andrea Hudáčková from the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences took part in a working meeting in Istanbul as part of the international project Enhancing Practices and Strengthening Core Competencies in Disaster Nursing through the Learning HUB (ECoDN-HUB).
This was already the third in-person meeting of the partner countries involved in the project. Previous working meetings were held in Timișoara, Romania, and Vaasa, Finland, in the spring of 2025.
As part of the meeting program, participants also had the opportunity to visit the Simulation Center of Koç University Istanbul and the Koç University Hospital, where they were introduced to the university’s modern educational and clinical facilities.
Project activities are continuing according to the planned schedule. One of the significant outputs is a forthcoming publication, in which the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences is also participating and will contribute its own chapter.
