Three members of FHSS USB visited the Faculty of Health Studies of the University of Sarajevo

As part of the Erasmus+ programme, three members of FHSS USB spent the week from 11 to 15 May at the Faculty of Health Studies of the University of Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The mobility involved Iva Brabcová and Hana Hajduchová from the Institute of Nursing, Midwifery and Emergency Care, together with Tomáš Hrdý from the Institute of Physiotherapy and Selected Medical Disciplines.
The main aim of the visit was to strengthen and further develop the long-term cooperation between the two partner universities. The programme also included specialist lectures and seminars delivered by FHSS USB academics for nursing and physiotherapy students at the host university. The lectures were intended for second- and third-year students and focused on current topics in nursing, physiotherapy, and modern approaches to healthcare. “The students had the opportunity to learn about differences between educational systems, discuss practical experience, and share perspectives on healthcare professions in different countries,” explained Associate Professor Brabcová.
The academic mobility contributed not only to strengthening professional and partnership relations between the two institutions, but also to expanding international cooperation in the field of education and professional training of future healthcare professionals. The experience gained and the newly established contacts represent an important foundation for the continued development of mutual cooperation.
