Nomination
Before admission for a study stay or traineeship, a student must be officially nominated by the home university coordinator. The nomination is sent by e-mail to the Faculty Erasmus+ coordinator.
The nomination must include:
- Full name
- Date of birth
- E-mail address
- Study area according to the agreement
- Level of study (Bachelor / Master / Doctorate)
- Mobility period (winter semester, summer semester, or full academic year)
A nomination from Erasmus coordinators or international office staff at partner universities guarantees that the student has been properly selected, meets all requirements, and, if possible, will receive a grant. This rule applies to students coming for study stays as well as practical placements.
⚠️ Without an official nomination, the application process cannot continue.
Nomination deadlines:
- Winter semester: by 30 May
- Summer semester: by 30 November
Once a nomination is received and availability is confirmed, detailed instructions for the application procedure are sent by e-mail.
Registration
If the mobility is a study stay and the Learning Agreement can be processed via the home university’s Erasmus Without Paper (EWP) system, registration in the University of South Bohemia’s STAG system is not required.
However, if the Learning Agreement cannot be submitted via EWP, or if the mobility is a traineeship, registration in STAG is mandatory.
After nomination, a link to the online application is sent. The application must be completed according to the instructions. Within the online form, it is possible to apply for:
- Accommodation in the dormitories of the University of South Bohemia
- Participation in the Orientation Week
- a Czech language course
Once student is registered and all required documents are received, a Letter of Acceptance is issued and sent electronically to the nominated student and the sending institution’s coordinator.
