Albania
- Barleti University: initially cooperation in social work, during the project the main partnership shifted to:
- University of Tirana: cooperation in social work, including joint activities in doctoral studies and research. Coordinator: doc. Mgr. et mgr. Jitka Vacková, Ph.D.
Bosnia a Herzegovina
- University of Sarajevo, Faculty of Health Studies: cooperation in nursing – Coordinator: – garant: Mgr. František Dolák, Ph.D., MBA and in physiotherapy – Coordinator: MUDr. et Mgr. Marcela Míková, Ph.D.
- University of Sarajevo, Faculty of Political Sciences: cooperation focused on social work. Coordinator: PhDr. Lenka Žižka Motlová, Ph.D.
- Pan-European University Apeiron: cooperation in nursing – Coordinator: Mgr. František Dolák, Ph.D., MBA and in physiotherapy – Coordinator: MUDr. et Mgr. Marcela Míková, h.D.
Goals and Benefits of Cooperation
- Development of education and research in nursing, physiotherapy, and social work,
- Support for the internationalisation of partner institutions and their involvement in European and global networks,
- Joint preparation of research projects and curriculum innovation with a focus on intercultural communication,
- Strengthening professional contacts and sharing good practice, e.g., in the field of migrant integration.
Implemented Mobilities
The project focuses primarily on:
- Student mobilities – two-month professional traineeships and study stays (mainly incoming),
- Staff mobilities – exchanges mainly of academic staff with ensured reciprocity.
The cooperation significantly contributes to the internationalisation of education at the Faculty of Health and Social Sciences, USB, and to supporting the pre-accession steps of partner countries towards EU membership.
