Lifelong Learning

In the modern world, rapid development, social change, increasing professional demands, and desire to keep up with younger generations is forcing inquisitive and active people to continually acquire new knowledge and skills. The Faculty of Health and Social Sciences of the USB accommodates such people with various types of lifelong learning.

The diverse range consists of preparatory courses for university entrance examinations, programmes of further specialization, additional education for medical, social and pedagogical staff (accredited by the relevant ministries), training programmes or courses for academic staff and faculty or university employees, and courses for professionals (as well as the general public).

The faculty also houses the University of the Third Age, the Children’s University and the Junior University.
